Why I play natural music – Chime Tsnare: 34-year-old Chimeleadhu Amakiri aka Chime Tsnare has explained why he plays natural music as opposed to very upbeat tempo songs.
“I will say my music is natural. I sound better performing live. I play natural music, live instruments. We have musicians that do that,” he said.
After thrilling guests at the recently held Tombo Fest, the instrumentalist, music producer, and singer said he practices music all day and every day.
“ I do RnB, Afro-dancehall. It is a fusion of RnB, it is a fusion of dancehall and it is a fusion of Afro music. I practice music. I can stand up with my guitar, play, and make you enjoy what I am doing. I can also pick up the piano and do the same. My music is not like the other digitalised kinds of music.”
Speaking further, Chime Tsnare whose current single, ‘Yo Baby,’ is enjoying massive rotation on major platforms, says music is a tool he intends to make the world a better place. “Music is that tool that I want to use to make the world a better place. Something to put a smile on people’s faces”.
